Video: From 0 To 100 In Record Time

Engineering students at ETH Zurich and Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts claimed a new world record while completing their latest motorsports project.

In less than a year, members of the Formula Student team at the Academic Motorsports Club in Zurich made an electric car called the Grimsel. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 1.513 seconds over a distance of less than 30 meters, breaking the previous record of of 1.779 seconds, which was set in 2013.
