It looks like Jeff Bezos and the team at Amazon are getting busier. According to recent reports, Amazon was awarded a patent for an on-demand clothing manufacturing warehouse.
The online retailer's new warehouse system is designed to quickly produce clothing, footwear and bedding after a customer places their order. The system will rely on batch manufacturing based on a variety of factors, such as location, to make this rapid production a reality.
Textile printers, cutters, an assembly line and cameras designed to provide product feedback will also be included in the warehouse to speed up production.
