The latest creation by Stratasys could change the additive manufacturing industry. The 3D Demonstrator, an automated, multi-cell 3D printing concept, is designed for low-volume production and mass customization.
The 3D Demonstrator is scalable and will sell as a single tower of three stacked FDM printers. The manufactured products are printed using a film that gets ejected before the next job in its queue, meaning users do not have to remove any parts from the printer. This new device merges Stratasys' Fortus FDM print engine technology with GrabCAD bloud-based 3D printing management software.
