What to Expect at ISM2015
Jennifer Shore April 28, 2015
We look forward to the Institute for Supply Management’s conference every year. Not only is it a good opportunity for my ThomasNet colleagues and I to put in some face time with more folks in the industry, but it’s important for us to be able to attend sessions and help spread the word about supply chain. But we have to admit that this year, we’re a little more excited than usual.
Throughout the conference, attendees can stop by booth 727 to take the ThomasNet tour — and we’ll give you a free “Proud to Procure” beverage tumbler for doing so. Speaking of which, remember last year when you had the opportunity to tell us why you were #ProudtoProcure? We’re featuring you!
In your show bag, you’ll see a poster from us to hang up in your office, cubicle, hallway or wherever it fits, but we know you’ll want to stop by our booth and get the matching drinkware.
So, aside from the booth activity, we’ll also be buzzing with excitement over the winners for the “30 Under 30” Supply Chain Stars Recognition Program. (Yes, we’ve already announced who the 2014 winners are — you can see that here — but now they have yet another a chance to shine.)
Just to recap: Last year, ThomasNet and ISM partnered to sponsor a “30 Under 30” program for supply chain professionals. We felt it was important to recognize those who have made significant contributions at a young age and hoped to generate awareness among Millennials about careers in the industry.
The winners will be in sessions and around the show floor for you to introduce yourself to, but you will want to check out the conference schedule to see what else they’ll be up to.
We’re looking forward to seeing you next week — just remember to stop by booth 727 to say hello, and don’t forget to tweet pictures of your #ProudtoProcure poster and #ISM2015 conference experience to @ThomasNet.
